I dug the hole 2 years ago for the dirt for my shop and parents house and for a catfish pond. It is 65x35x5 foot deep with a bottom drain and skimmer.

80x50 foot liner instaled by my wife and I!
I have a 350 gal tank and a couple of 50 gal drums for a bio filter have a 4500 gph pump now pipes are big enough to go bigger later. Am transplanting now covered the edge with brown landscape fabric so my border plants will grow over the liner.
Fish are to eat might put a few of my schubukins from my othr ponds in for color.

Wow that is some pond. I bet that liner set you back a few bones. What are you going to raise in it?
