foaming

My pond has been foaming ever since it rained. I turn the waterfall off and it dicipates quickly, but as soon as I turn the waterfall back on it comes back. is there anything that i can do to correct it?

how is your filtration? is the ground next to your pond close to same level of pond or is pond built up?

My filtration is good and I just got some defoamer and it worked great. Thanks for the reply though.

You wouldn't happen to know about an aquatic insect that lives in the 'fast' water of a waterfall or stream, would you? I have them in the waterfall only and they seem to attach themselves to the rocks. I've killed them by unplugging the waterfall and letting it dry up.
