I've never seen that happen in my ponds and frogs have been in them for
years.

I only have toads mating in my pond with the fish, and I haven't lost
any fish because of it. The toads aren't there to eat, they have sex
on their minds and they are noisy about extending an invitation to the
ladies too.

Occasionally someone complains about finding a dead fish with a belly
full of toad eggs, but I've never seen a fish eat a toad egg. I've
seen them take toad eggs into their mouth and spit them back, so from
my experience I don't think they eat toad eggs.

I think you will be fine. They coexist in the wild and neither are in danger of extinction. They will likely establish perimeters during the mating season. The frogs may eat fry if your fish spawn.

frogs lay lots of eggs, which contribute a huge shot of "organics" to the pond at the
same time goldfish are spawning and doing the same. when the frogs hatch they can
produce a lot of waste too. GF produce a lot of waste. so how big is the pond, how
many frogs? if you monitor your water conditions and have adequate aeration,
filtration and biofilter, it shouldnt be a problem.
also..... frogs eat what fits in their mouth. little GF are snacks. Ingrid

I do remember someone showing us a picture of a confused male riding a GF
or Koi. There is probably a possibility that a frog could clamp down the
gills of a fish, but it is probably fairly remote. Depends on the type of
frog also, more than likely now that you've added goldfish they will eat
the frog spawn and soon you won't have frogs. ~ jan
