New koi pond owner
Hello:
We recently put a koi pond in and are awaiting a bit of warmer weather before we put koi in. I know very little about this venture, but hope to learn. One concern I have is the blue heron. They fly overhead already, and I guess they see the pond, so I am worried about having koi in the pond. Someone suggested using a fishing nets with weights to keep it down, but what does this mean in terms of having plants in the pond? Any help would be appreciated.
