You have done well. This is just what I need for a spawing Tank.

What are your plans for a biological filter?

Is this filter capable of back flushing? I see what looks like a vacuum set up. How are you hooking that into the system?

Yeah its all set up for back flush................Pond vac I bought originally for my front yard pond, which is a small little 80 gallon pond that we use for a fountain basically. The vac is one that hooks up to the garden hose and siphons with a little brush hose attachment on the end. I don't think its suitable for my big pond. Here's a pic of the little pond that got me started on this whole pond thing. Its empty now as my wife has been working on the mosaic.

She is very talented.

I have a swimming pool pump that I was planning on using for my vacuum but it realy moves a lot of water. I have concerns about the juviniles in my pond getting sucked in if I use it.

I have been slowly moving the over 200 out, then selling them to make room for the spawn. I have set up a tank and a tub to house them in.

This is becoming a full time job. I thought my BBQ Island Plans and Barbeques Galore Forum involvment was time consuming.

Very nice! That is professional-looking quality. Maybe you should build ponds for a living.

Anyway, it looks great...can't wait to see how it looks all stocked up. Don't forget to share the pics.
