What brand pump?

hey guys

I have a Cal pump 3500 right now that is not working, it's got power, but the impeller does not move, unless you move it with your hand, then it works fine, but you gotta start it every time. Everything inside is sealed so it should not be crap inside it. Dont know what else it can be. But this got me thinking, how good is this pump, not a single review online that I could find.

What would you recommend for a 3000 gph+ pump that runs a waterfall that is about 10-12 feet above it? it sits inside a skimmer box in the pond itself.
