Hi everyone,
This is Ron Schompert. I have a person who wants to access r.p.m but she uses webtv. I know nothing about how webtv works. Before giving her other options to access this group, I would like to know if anyone here uses webtv to read r.p.m. She was an occasional poster in the old rec.ponds for many years, until she got fed up with the garbage. She can still get r.p but she says she doesn't know how to get rpm. (I'd like to help her with webtv, before directing her to a different free newsgroup provider or googlegroups). So if anyone out there is currently using webtv to access this group, please respond here, or email me at Thanks. ron. (Some of you probably know her, but I don't have permission (yet) to mention her name.) |

I did find your response in the webtv newsgroup. I appreciate not only the helpful info you gave me, but also that you took the time to actually run the test, so that we know for sure that everything works. I have contacted the lady in need, and provided her with the info for her to rejoin us on r.p.m. Thanks again! Ron |

This is a nice group, the fact that it's moderated means NO SPAM and it's a respite from flames (there is a time and place for flaming, but...)...plus which it's an interesting subject. I am having fun reading all the posts... :-) -- Best Greg |
