we moved and my small pond went into a new shell identical to the previous one. I have water lilies and mosquito fish. Have used barley pads for algae in past with good results. I added two new water lilies from WalMart. Now I have fabric-like sheets of algae. They don't grow on the sides, they attach to stems or the locator strings of the water lilies and form sheets several inches across and long. Even pulled out and dried they hold their form. Any idea what this is, and how to get rid of it without killing my fish?
