Welcome back Dale! ~ jan
Look at this from 1997:
Best Pond Friend & 5 minutes from K30
Manager of 100,000 gallon people pool (Semi-Retired!)
Queen of 1850 gallon koi ponds
Pauper of Patio Pond (Fish testing SUCCESSFUL!)
Domestic Goddess of 9 Aquariums
Slave to House/Yard/Kids/Dog/Cat/Sugar Glider/Bird/
My how my life has changed in ten years:
This is still true:
*Best Pond Friend & 5 minutes from K30 (Kathy).
I'm not longer even a member, let alone manager of this pool:
*Manager of 100,000 gallon people pool (Semi-Retired!)
*Queen of 1850 gallon koi ponds
HA! Found out after I learn you could get very close to the correct
gallonage with a salt test they were only 1500 gallons.
*Pauper of Patio Pond (Fish testing SUCCESSFUL!)
Well... that's still true, only I rarely have fish it in, I use it for my
tropical plants in winter, though it runs all year in the living room
rather than on the deck now days.
*Domestic Goddess of 9 Aquariums
Down to 6 aquariums now, though some are bigger, most are used for goldfish
in winter and Q-tanks.
*Slave to House/Yard/Kids/Dog/Cat/Sugar Glider/Bird/
Here's the biggest change, I went to work, hubby now chips in... the
kitchen mainly, eldest son does a heck of a lot. I still do the yard, the
middle son is now married and in the Army, youngest is due to graduate from
Hi School June 1st. The dog & cat died, the sugar glider & bird we either
sold or gave away. We now have a grand-dog, Maui, we see now and then.
Since then we dug the 1,000 lily pond. And helped on the committee to
building the Master Gardener Pond and I still maintain the filter. ~ jan
