Far out. There's a storm headed right for me. Bet it misses me. Am
I a cynic about rain or what?

=============================
We only have a 30% chance of rain this weekend. We're very dry here. I
topped up the ponds and tanks again this afternoon. Something here is very
strange since that abnormal deep freeze we had a few weeks ago. There are
almost no frogs. I saw only one large snake and two toads. The fish aren't
spawning. Only one pond's fish spawned, half heartedly, and there are only a
handful of new fry.

I hope you are a wet cynic this morning. I have a few drops falling
off the roof and a very slight drizzle about 150 miles North of the
Florida line. I'm hoping for a measurable amount in the rain gage
before it all goes away.

Regards,

Hal

At 7 am the weatherguessers are suggesting the storm will head south
of us. We only have about 1/2 inch of rain so far, but, hey, I'll
take it.

We'll cross that bridge when it rears its ugly head

I'm not complaining, we have more rain today by 10 than we had the
entire month of May. But looking at the radar it isn't going to be
around much longer. A drought-buster this isn't.

My local weather radar doesn't cover as far away as you are, but the
rain coverage looked good over most of Georgia yesterday.

Started yesterday about 10 AM very slowly for us, but kept going till
early this morning sometime before 7:30 AM and deposited 2.6" into the
rain gage in my yard. It was so good, but too long in getting here.

Pond is full, but the lotus has just the right canopy of leaves to
keep the rain from filling the pot is grows in. I still have to use
the hose to fill that pot.

Regards,

Hal

I think we had snow on the Peak and surrounding area today ...
chilly ... windy ... 80 and 90 mph winds ... Colorado ... Gotta love
it!
