I wonder if you could use a sump pump vault also they come in all sizes .I am using one for my bio filter now and it works great and they come with lids also .

PD what are those hoses coming out of the hole and please post more info on how it is finished. So pump goes down in the hole and then does it attach to a fountain or ? Sure looks easy so far anyways!

Yep you are prolly right sissy and we'll have to wait to see the rest of the project later. Just wondering what will be over that big tube? Maybe a big rock or the waterfall runs in there?

I like the looks of that Digger. Any idea what size hole (LxWxD) a person would need in order to capture 70-80 gallon?

I will eventually post some pics. Right now I have to get a patio done then I can get on with the waterfall. I am looking forward to working on it. I hava an old pool liner that has been given to me. I am thinking of using it for the backer under the liner. Good idea or not so much ??

It may trap water and float your liner up been there done that lol When I first rebuilt my pond thought it would be a good idea to leave the damaged liner in the pond and I'm glad I found it out before i got the fish back in .
