I always use Algae-fix whenever I add water and it controls algae perfectly. My dilemma is that I have a large quantity of Accu-Clear and am running out of Algae-Fix. Can I substitute Accu-Clear for Algae-fix, at least until it runs out or should I toss the Accu-clear and buy a new supply of Algae-fix. I'm not sure what the difference is.

Thanks...........Ralph

You shouldn't need to add algae anything. Give your pond a balance itself. Most if not all ponders here don't add any algae additives to their pond.

I do not use chemicals but in your case you do and so be it. I personally would stick with what works for you. I do not feel it is worth the cost to take any chances that Accu-clear will not perform the same. I would just get more Algae-fix

Accu - clear is a Flocculent , that may help clump the fine floating stuff up so your filter can take it out

Algae - fix is used to control algae , if you have a problem

To answer your ? keep the accu-clear and get more algae -fix if you need it
