Albino Catfish turning Dark

Hi Everyone

I have an albino catfish in my pond that is turning very dark, brown, started by tail and is moving up his whole body!
I will try and get pic when I am home later, but I am new to this and want to help him, any advice would be appreciated ,thank you!

It should be an albino channel cat,unless you have a 2000 gallon tank then it's hardly a tank fish.

Oh OK I have tiny albino cats in my tank. They are full grown at 3" had them a while
Def. A different albino. I'd love to have a black cat

Sometimes koi go black when the pond has a high Ammonia level in the pond however wether or not this happens o albino cats I dont know .
We have an Akagio[albino Koi ] which is yellow in colouration I take it its the same for your albino cat ?
