Different species of Cichlids have different temperature tolerances. What specie of Cichlid do you have?

Cichlids are considered tropical fish and do best in warmer temperatures. Any where from 76 degrees - 82 degrees is preferred. I'm sure they would be fine for a short time if temperatures were slightly cooler or warmer.

Seven degrees celsius is 44.6 farenheit which I believe would be way too cold for any Cichlids to survive.

Any chance of bringing them in the house and putting them in a heated tank?

I agree. Did some looking around and the consensus seems to be absolutely no temperature below 60F/15C.

Thamx , yes i will do that either add bigger heater or take them indoor , altho temp doesnot stay 7 c all day , but just few days and only after mid night till early morning it goes that low .
thinking to put them in smaller tank inside for short time when winter is on peak i hope they dont mind.
