I got my replacement UV bulb about a week ago. The pond is clearing. Slowly but surely. I am going to start testing for nitrates to see if the levels are too high. If they are I will have to start doing more frequent water changes to control it. I cut back on the feedings and as a result they have eaten my water hyacinths.

My fish are looking so BIG!

Random thought, I wonder if my fish will spawn in my 'winter' since the water is a bit cooler now than normal ...... ?

I'm glad to hear things are starting to make the turn for the better. I can't answer your question, but as far as you saying your fish look big now, think of what they have been eating, free salad!

Glad you have clear water. Guess you will have to watch and see if they spawn.
