How many fish can i have?

is there a good rule of thumb for how many fish a pond can hold with no problems? say my pond is 3000 gallons

What kinda fish are you talking about? Koi, goldfish, both? Keep in mind koi grow to be 24", so your calculation should be based on the adult size of the fish, not the itty bitty size you buy now.
