I was wondering how the large pond would do with leafs, it has two apple trees, one large maple, bordering it. And woods surrounding, 50 - 100 feet away.

The lily pond in the front is surrounded by trees also.

Here is what is happening:

The Large pond! almost leaf less, must be the berms, the wind pattern and pure LUCK lol
These pictures are after a very windy, gusty day, leaves flying everywhere.

The lily pond non stop leaf netting, but it is easy to net them out of.

Thank goodness for that. What a wonderful place that is. All the trees are colors. In Tx we get only two colors. Green and brown.

I love your place.

Thanks, one thing i love about my new home (besides hubby lol), you can plant things and they actually grow without a ton of effort.

I noticed you are in zone 6a-7a Thats not far off from me. Yet you have a great yard, Does it get really cold?

We can and do drop to zero, every now and then, a drop down to minus. (that makes us 6a at our house) I think the lowest i have seen in my two winters here is -7, coldest ever was -10, on record, hottest ever was 106. This summer was the hottest overall, day after day.

What we have is rain, (well not this summer it was so darn dry) that is what makes things grow so nice.
