Microscope help

I am looking to get a microscope for scrapings on Amazon but am on a very limited budget and am not sure what kind to get as far as the magnification goes on what is needed to identify parasites. Can someone tell me what is needed?

This one was recommended on a koi site and I've book marked it for when I buy one. I'm sure they have other models for less money, but you could look this site over and see what's available on Amazon too.

I have one that goes up to 400X which is all you basically need. It also is a mono vision scope as the link from Tula and many come with slides and most of what you'll need. You can find many between
$100 to under $200 that'll suit your needs.... Fortunately I haven't had the need to use mine in 2 years but it's a great tool when you do need it. No guess work!

Sorry I mean how you get the parasites on the slide, just rub it against the fish?
