The poster I put up about helping turtles cross the road did not mention a minor detail that I personally recommend. If the turtle you find and help[ cross the road was also flipped onto his back then if possible pour some cool but not cold water over his shell and his head as they could have been that way for some time and be dehydrated and even though cold blooded can also overheat. Thanks to anyone willing to take time to help one of these awesome creatures that I care so much about. If the turtle does not appreciate it I do
