We had another pond previously, closer to the house, but son Marc wanted to build a higher
waterfall and I had thought about selling fish..... (can't do it)

So we all worked hard and this was when it was finally finished!

We moved a lot of plants, too~

Youngest son Brandon built the bridge out of Trex.

Double skimmers, one for the big pump, and the other for the filter~

Still working on rocks at that point.

1/2of the rocks came from the mountains, a private area we discovered. One truckload
moved my bed on my little S-10, so we ordered the rest of the rocks lest my hubby have
a cardiac event..... lol~

The second year~

We now have an island of these plants: Water Thistle, that are 6' tall and 7' wide...
my job for tomorrow is to thin them out....

Fun to see the changes, though~

Very nice pond. Love the stream. I really enjoyed the progression of pictures. Amazing how they fill in.

It's been a long time since I've seen such a detailed photo-by-photo post. I really enjoy when people post these. It's great seeing the process of how it turned from a hole in the ground to a pond. Great stuff @keikoasmom !
