Sending PM's

Is there any way to send a PM directly from a post instead of going up to the "inbox" and starting a conversation?

For example, you're reading through a thread and see something you want to comment on, but want to do it from a PM and not in public -- is there a way to PM from there?

You can pm someone if they replied to a thread by clicking on their name (under their picture) and a box will open with an option to start conversation. Click on that and it will open up a new private message.
