Here's a pic from the mini stream I used to have. RobAmy's is probably the best example of a stream I have seen. Its so natural look, its unbelievable!

the reason i asked is i love the way the stones look natural, i didnt dig my stream down i laid it straight on grass and built up the sides. on top of that i sometimes get an algae buildup and the water level rises over the edges of the stream. more thanonce i thought i had a hole int he liner.
