I called up old Bill Gates and said, “I want your daughter to marry my son.”
Bill got all ornery-like and said "No, screw that".
I told Bill that my son is the is the CEO of World Bank.”
Bill asked where the wedding should take place.
I called up the President of the World Bank and told him that my son had just graduated University and that I though he'd be a great fit for the CEO position.
The World Bank President, said "No, screw that".
I told him that my son was married to Bill Gates' daughter.
He asked when my son could start in his new role as the CEO of the World Bank.

Wouldn't it be nice if someone wasn't beholden to the power brokers of the world. Someone that had enough money of their own that they didn't need to make deals just to get support to stay in power.
