Unusual warm weather this winter

Due to the unusual warm weather this winter I was able to get out in my pond yesterday (was 59 degrees) and clean out the pond. Stuff I normally do in later March or early April. Put me in a good mood since I got stuff done early.

I actually could just do that all winter this year Only a little over a week of hibernation for my fish!

I feel the same way this warmer winter I am getting caught up with work outside the house .But sorry to say pond keeps being put on the back burner for me .I wish I could say it was first but it is not .I did net the bottom of stuff though

Not me I am not getting into that ice covered pond. Which is 35 F BURR!

I got a quick pond clean-up in a couple weekends ago, too, when the weather was mild. There were a couple handfuls of straggling leaves that made it into the pond right around the first snowfall/cold snap, plus I discovered two of the koi fry didn't make it, so I had some scooping to do.
