What is the best way to stop my garden Garden Furniture sinking into the grass?

hi there. I have the same problem with a garden chair I have by the pond. I simply put a small piece of slate stone under each foot and that stops the problem.

a concrete foundation of around 1m deep per chair should suffice. Make sure you use rebar if its going to see any serious action.

maybe removing the grass? it makes sense they cant sink in grass thats not there!! you can rent a sod cutter for around $75.00 / day.(make sure to get all the roots.)
