White duck weed?

Hello, my container of duckweed that I had left over turned white because of no water. Can I fix this? I put them in a container of water in the sun will it come back?

My duckweed comes back year after year staying outside in winter, and get dried out for sometimes. so I say you try

my duck weed sinks to the bottom and then comes back up .As long as the roots are wet it should come back
