Hey Guys,
I read an ad on kijiji today about pond plants for sale in Ancaster Ontario. They are a retired couple closing up their 20yr old pond. I went out and picked up some taro and a waterlily (cheap!). Super friendly people and a beautiful garden to boot! If you can't find the ad let me know and I can give you more info.

Taro is great stuff. I have seen a jet black leaf variety getting around the last few years. If you have a Polynesian grocery store near you it may have taro tubers for sale that can be planted.
