I have a corkscrew rush that is in a plastic pot partially submerged at the edge of our pond. How do I overwinter it? Do I cut it back and leave it where it sits? Do I want to bring it in the house? Does it go in the water fully submerged for the winter and if so when do I want to do that? :confused2:

when the frost bits cut it back. Depending on how cold your climate, will determen if it stays on the ledge or sink it. You can also take it inside as a house plant.

It gets plenty cold here, by Christmas we will be able to walk on our pond. So then after the frost nips it and I cut it back, then I should completely submerge it until the spring? I don't really want to bring it in the house if I can help it
