Replacing pond water

lost some water in my 600 gallon pond. Was wondering how to replace? i was going to fill a tank/small pool with the hose water let sit and check on PH levels for a day or to before i transfer into the pond. Anything else i should add with the water thanks..

The PH should not change by letting the water sit. You should add a declor though. If the temp and PH are the same then the declor is all you need to add.

I agree, the PH might be slightly different than your pond, but the difference is of no consequence. It is the chlorine and chlorimides you have to worry about if you are adding more than 25%.
