It should. With all the problems we have had it has been changed out 5 times in 3 weeks. Don't want to see the water bill!

Started off with Ich and then went to a Hemmoragic bactericical problem. Under control so far and meds in the mail. so far no Koi lost.

If you had ich then you might want to salt your pond (.1%) for a few months to make sure it is gone. It is cheap insurance.

Thanks for the concern Dr. Dave- So far this year no problems other than fry we really didn't want or need. Koi Condo II under construction. Have not used salt this year as I have heard some bugs can build up resistance to a pond that is salted regularly.

Then don't salt regularly. I have only salted mine once in the past few years. If I had a problem, I would not hesitate, it does not take that long to reduce it with water exchanges.

that looks really peacefull i bet u spend a lot of time at the pond
nothing sounds better then a waterfall. nice pond you have there

Once you did one pond (and have the room) it seems more appear over time.
