Our koi spawned today. Water temp at 75 degrees. We have had a serious bacterial infection run thru our pond the last 2 weeks but it seems to be under control. we lost a lot of our goldfish and some koi had sores on them but none died. My question is -will koi spawn if they are ill or is it safe to assume that the water treatment and antibiotic foods did the trick? They were at it for over 8 hours. The water is a mess as they got into the playpen we built to protect our water lilies.
