Well I haven't seen the catfish I bought last week since I've put it in the pond. And now my bullfrog tadpoles are MIA since they were almost frogs. So i'm out at the pond with a flashlight figuring catfish are more likely to come out at night. I still can't find the catfish but here is this little 1" fish swimming around. I have no idea where it came from.I'm figuring it hitched in on a plant as an egg a couple weeks ago. Not sure what it is yet,i'll try and get some pictures sunday when the sun comes back.

oh, cool a bonus fish...hope its something nice...i was out this morning and saw some fry in the pond myself, probably minnow cause they just spawned too. in the border rocks right where i saw the fry. maybe your fish spawned, most get eaten anyways.
theres definately something fishy about this forum!

I don't think they spawned. I would think they are all too young since i purchaced them at 3" about 1 1/2 months ago. And still no catfish:grumble: I have no idea what could have happened to a 3" catfish. He has to be in there somewhere

I put a 6" bullhead in my pond last year and could not find the thing to save my life. I ended up just taking out the goldfish and baiting a hook and catching the catfish at night.

Bullfrogs will eat small fish, as for your tadpoles snakes eat them.
When you build your pond decide what you want and then go Way bigger
