We have a small backyard pond that is unpleasantly emerald green.

Thank you. We're draining the pond down now to clean it, and it's not looking good.

I designed a biological and mechanical filter for my pond (1500 gal) that works really well, and cost me about $12. If you are interested, I would be happy to make a diagram for you and send it to you.

jack... please post diagrams, schematics, construction instructions for your filter,it may help others.
