I thought I would share my cheap polishing filter. It's good to take nearly 100% of all floating stuff (dirt, alage, other) out of the water.

I dropped this in my 60 Gallon preformed bog that feeds my water fall with a 600GPH pump.

I connect it to the output into the bog filter for a day or so to clean up the pond. It's using a 5 micron filter $1.89, can use 1 micron or 30,60 as well. Installs in seconds when required. Cheap filter media replacements as well.

It's a whole home water filter for under the sink installation so it's designed for high throughput and pressure. It was about $20 for the filter itself.
