Hey everyone. I have 2 ponds that have been going for 2 years now. The small one is ~300 gallons, oval, about 3 feet in deep and 1.5 feet shallow and has a small fountain and 3 med-large goldfish.
My large pond has a 3 foot waterfall and is a kidney shape with 3 feet at deepest and 2 feet at shallow (about 1000 gallons). I have 2 8-12 inch Koi and 4 2-4 inch babies (just born this spring in my pond). There are 3 softball-sized RES turtles that we recently added (they hang out in both ponds) and both ponds have various floating and planted plants (hyacinth, parrot feather, lillies).

Keep an eye on those turtles. Take a head count daily.
