Hi, I'm from NJ and I will be building a small pond in about two or three weeks until then I need help and you can find that request under the newbies to garden ponds heading. Thanks in advance!!!

Welcome, get a temporary pond ready for those baby koi you are going to save.

I have a 250 gallon pond shell supported by 2x4's so it won't collapse where the shelves are. Will this work for a week or two? Or is it too small? i don't plan on keeping all the babies just a couple of them, but I do need to find them good homes.

Just make sure your 2X4's are properly braced, 250 gallons of water weighs 2087 lbs.
