How long usually does it take for the Koi to adjust to the new pond?

I recently placed them into the new pond and haven't seen them since. I'm thinking I'll try and get a Chagoi providing I can find one local. Not sure what I'm looking for exactly but I miss my fish! I wish they'd come up and eat.

Is the water clear where you can see them hiding ?
they will end up on top of the water to feed some time

I can see down past the ledges but that's about it. I have zero shade in my back yard and am working on adding as many floating plants as I can to provide some shade. Dealing with some pea green water right now. I'm going to be making a skippy filter as soon as I'm back on my feet again. For now it's hurry up and wait.
