3100 gallon pond with a skimmer and bio falls being pushed by a 4800 gph pondmaster pump. Also running a 2000 gph pondmaster pump going to 2 55 gallon drums one contains spring flow the other skippy pads. After the 55 gallon drums I have a 6000 gallon 40 watt pondmaster uv light. Water is clear and fish are happy....I need to make it bigger in the spring

Nice job on the filters! Did you install dump valves in the bottom?

By popular demand, I have placed some photos on my web site on my bio filter.

I used wirey vine to cover my stucture. It grows so well, you have to give it a haircut cause it looks like a giant Ghia Pet. LOL

may I ask what spring flow is? Cause the stuff in the 1st barrel looks like plastic shipping strap.

It is plastic shipping strap and it is one of the best medias you can use since it is cheap and backflushes all the solids easily without disturbing the anerobic bacteria.
