so i was in the pond today trimming lillies and such... i can walk in there now the slippery stuff went away ..anyways, i had a hard time doing it because i had 50 fry trying to eat the hair on my legs. i can only assume they thought it was string alge. it tickled so much i was struggling to not laugh. and when i would reach in to shoo them away they wanted to play with my hand. this went on for 20 minutes or so when i should of been done in 5 or 6 minutes. what a curious and playfull lot. gotta love 'em!!! the big guys hang around but dont try to eat me any more, i missed that! just thought i'd share that little annecdote.
theres definately something fishy about this forum!

Of course we would need some pix of his legs first for better base of reference!:D

What a funny image koiguy! It made me laugh out loud just picturing you in there with all your babies suckling on their mama!

Too cute!

The fry I have in the ponds are all developing nice colors. I think I will leave them till the spring and pull them out before the next spawn.
