Can anyone recommend some really good books on Koi? As an example of what I consider "really good", my favourite of my goldfish books is "Fancy Goldfish: A complete Guide to Care and Collecting" by Dr. Erik Johnson and Richard Hess :)

Chilligirl-
I have the Tetra Encyclopedia of Koi by Tetra Press. Good info and a great section on identification of different varieties of koi.

Dr. Erik Johnson has good information. However, I get most of mine from the Internet, you just have to sort through the BS.
