I spent the afternoon puttering around the pond. Very relaxing way to spend time. Here are a few pix...
#1 Emma apparently deciding whether the filter would make a good barrel to go over the falls in.
#2 My happy fishes swimming in the now very clear water. The milk crate sits on the bottom of the pond 3ft. down and the camera is about 4ft. away from the surface of the water.
#3 My "first visitor" that was checking things out during construction seems to approve of the area and has moved in. This is the second time I've seen him since Sunday!:D

A week ago, you couldn't see six inches below the surface. I had the usual initial algae bloom. Water parameters were fine, so I let it go, (except adding water lettuce as my hyacinths were dying. I cleared up quickly.

Emma loves to play around the pond. She jumps from stone to stone and up the falls like a mountain goat. She'll cool her heels (literally) in the lower spillway and she thinks that and the spitter are her personal water fountains!
