i was out by the pond this morning planting spring bulbs, whilst digging holes i found loads of worms and thought these would make tasty treets for the fish so i picked a few up and was about to throw them in the pond when i suddenly thought ..this is cruel !! ..so i gently put them back on the garden ... got me thinking am i the only daft softy or would others have dont the same as me ?

I'm sorry to say stroppy that when i find worms i break them up and feed them to the fish.

I would leave them in the dirt as they are beneficial for the garden! However when I find sawfly larvae on my hollyhocks, in the pond they go!
The warmth of the sun for pardon
The song of the birds for mirth
One's closest to God's heart in a garden
Than anyplace else on earth!

I leave the earthworms for the garden but all the slugs I find get tossed in the pond for the fish.

Do you pull over and pick them off the road when it rains so they won't get run over too?
In the pond with em I say!
