I was wondering if anyone has made an air lift pump to help create water movement in a pond, and if there are any good D.I.Y designs anyone could share. I have seen a couple in action on youtube but no plans. Search for "Airlift van Marcel" for the short clip of one in action.

Thanks for sharing that Stroppy
Good to see an old trick put back to use. 40 years ago, we built undergravel filters and in the corners of our aquariums were the lift tubes that had an air stone inside. The result was the undergravel grid of PVC with holes in them drew water through the gravel and up through the tubes. It both areated and provide a great bio filter at the same time.
This could easily work into the DIY pond filtration.
