no name on it? how about some pix with the lids off showing the insides and the media inside if there still is any?..... theyve got airlines in so they may be bead filters and "boil" the beads...im no expert!! how old are they? i build my own filters so i may be off base...
theres definately something fishy about this forum!

o.k someone may recognize them now...the round one looks like it might be a vortex settlement chamber and posible protein skimmer and the square looks like a nice big biochamber. but there are people here far more familiar with this type setup. looks like a decent set up tho!!

Thanks guys.

I will say, they have changed the water in 3 days where the old filter i had never made the water as clear as it is now so they got to be doing some thing right!!

That Crap on top of the Answer is from the 3 days its been running, they were spotless before i installed them!!

He was a "true" fish man, i have his prize fish (red/black) in my albums as with 4 of his others,

He really loved his pond and only bought the good stuff, i have water filters for filling the pond via tap water and pond heaters the whole 9 yards!!

Yes its a shame he has gone and we all miss him, im just trying to learn about all the kit he has passed on to me!!

I need to keep these 5 fish of his safe for his memory, hence needing to know about it all.

Thanks to forums such as this one, i am sure i will find out about it all!!

Cheers guys!!
