It will take a bit to get used to this forum, but I will get it in the end I suppose.I have a few pics from last Summer (well if you can call it a Summer what we had in the weather line :D:banana: at the moment all my ponds are covered in wraps and the heaters are on in 2 of them. The temp is nearly freezing this evening, but the fish will be warmer.I tend to use a natural approach, lots of plants in the ponds,it keeps the water sweet. We recently built a new little pump house behind the top pond,so we can keep an eye on the filters, electrics etc,in the dry with a good roof over us..Just went up to check the heaters are working, and I could feel the heat when I slipped my hand under the tarpaulins.
Sorry I cannot upload my pictures as you have to have more posts before allowed.I did try.

Welcome to the forum. Actually, it is based in the UK but we have members all over the world.

GREAT:fish2: I thought I was the only one talking about freezing weather and heaters, although I know the USA has different temperature zones (not that stupid anyway;)
I can now talk about the stresses and strife of keeping fish and ponds healthy through UK Winters without others thinking I was from Russia:banana:.
HOORAY,so I can now move on from the introduction stage.YIPPEE
