Hi everyone. Here's the thing, had a spurt of warm weather here in Middletown NY and my pond has defrosted a bit and I noticed one of the baby fish 3 1/2 inch floating. I thought he/she was a casualty but when I went to dispose of her/him the fish started swimming around in circles like a speared fish. What should I do? bring her/him in or will the fish go back and go dormant? Don't want to really give up on it but this is the fish's 1st winter. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!;):coffeemug:

i know with my aquarium fish when that happens its cause something is wrong with them and one way to try to fix it is with a salt bath. but that might be diffrent for a pond. worth a try though i think

That sounds like a swim bladder problem. Sometimes they come out of it and sometimes they don't.
