The color wheel was on my first pond there on top over the septic pipes and it was to help keep the heron away when the wind blew.............but we had a wind storm and it blew it all to heck so it is no more and either is that pond. The bottom pic is my newest and only pond now and it's not over any septic tank pipes this time :banana:

It wasn't there long enough to find out. The first wind storm wiped it out shortly after it was put up. We get some strong winds up here sometimes that will knock your socks off! Posted Image
