Not yet koiguy,

We don't have otters around here in the low lands that have seen. The is no natural safe bredding grounds around here.

Regardless, my 357 mag is handy and within safe reach from my pillow, and all I have to do is open the bedroom window to see my pond just below.

Happy ponding,

yeah, i dont have to worry about them either..but i saw this video and thought i might post it because they may be a consideration for some here... some may have had them visit their pond and not kown or even thought of them...primarily fish eaters and proficient swimmers they would be a real problem if one found your pond!!

I'm sure they would clean out a pond much faster than a pack of coons.

I do see some when I'm hunting
they just swim the ditches, plenty of fish to eat there
In town they would have to walk to far to get to my pond .
I hope

Love the camera... I am glad that we don't have anything exotic in our ponds...
We do have our share of predators... Otters, Coons, Blue Herons, Merganzers, Cormorants, and Ospreys... I couldn't tell you how many brook trout that we lose in a years, but I suspect that they must be doing okay since the predators are constantly hunting there... It's kinda cool to watch the Osprey... They'll sit up in one of our pines and swoop down and into the water...
