how to eliminate this algae? pics incl

Hello, i live in south louisiana. I have about a half acre pond, almost 30 feet deep. I have this algae growing aound the outsides of it. Anybody know what kind of algae this is and how to eliminate it?

A close up, 18" or less using a macro lens would help. It is probably string algae. It will eventually go away. I hand pick out excess in my ponds.
