now that the ice is gone and i can see all my fish made it threw the winter. i was able to bring home a cupple of thangs today that i got for free two 35 gal drums and one 100 gal watter tank they all need a really good cleaning and ill be making the drums into fillters and im think of making the 100 gal tank into a small hatchory or holding talk. the pond water is 40* and i was wonderign when to start the fillter back up that i have in there?

Nice catch, Great container for the hatchery, you will want a lot of aereation and very fine socks ove the filter intakes. Koi fry are very small when hatched. I have used nylons and the really dense sunscreen material for prefilters to keep them from getting sucked into the filters.

Fire the filter up spring is comming on fast
they need a good 3 weeks to get up to speed
i like the new tanks
